Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet
Carrie's Five:
These are all books I have been meaning to read but just haven't yet (I even own most of them). I really need to get on that!
#5 - Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins
#4 - How to Ruin series by Simone Elkeles
#3 - Fire and Thorns series by Rae Carson
#2 - Jessica Darling series by Megan McCafferty
#1 - Bloodlines series by Richelle MeadThese are all books I have been wanting to read for a really long time. I can't believe I haven't read some of them already. Also I like that most of these have more than three books in the series.
#5 - The Body Finder series by Kimberly Derting
#4 - Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead
#3 - Gone series by Michael Grant
#2 - The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
#1- Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness

I have a feeling that Patrick Ness series will be making its way into my list soon :) I have a new book by that author in my TBR right now and it'll be my first time reading him.
ReplyDeleteI need to start the Chaos Walking series myself. I hope you enjoy his new book.
DeleteHex Hall is on my list, too, so it's good I'm not the only one late to the series. :) Also, I've read the first book of Fire & Thorns, and highly recommend it. I've also got The Body Finder on my TBR shelf, so hopefully we'll get to these series soon!
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad to hear I'm not the only slow poke. So many books and so little time. I will get to it this year though. :)
DeleteGirl of Fire and Thorns. So much love for those books!
ReplyDeleteI really need to read the Mortal Instruments series too.
Can't wait to start Fire & Thorns. I've heard so many good things about this series.
DeleteI want to read the Jessica Darling series, too. It looks very cute!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a very popular series. We better hurry and read it.
Deletei've seen a lot of people with the Jessica Darling series. it's so great, you will love it. also, I love the Body Finder. Jay, sigh. ~daphne
ReplyDeleteI have read the first two books in the Body Finder series. Shannon needs to hurry and get on board the Jay train. :)
DeleteShannon, I hope you like the Mortal Instrument series once you start it. It's one of my faves!
ReplyDeleteCarrie, you're the third person I've seen who has mentioned the Jessica Darling series. I've never even heard of this. I guess I need to look it up.
My TTT Post
Lots of my blogging buddies have been raving about the Jessica Darling series and I was gifted a copy of the first book. I have plans to read it with some friends this summer. :-)
DeleteI just started the Gone series yesterday, and it's definitely a series I will continue. Fire and Thorns was also one of my pick. Great lists.

Great minds think a like.
DeleteOh I have Fire and Thorns! I can't believe I forgot about it.
ReplyDeleteI need to read The Knife of Letting Go, too.
Cool picks you guys! :)
My TTT
I know how that goes. There are several more series I could have added to the list. I'm drowning in books. lol
DeleteIt seems like everyone YA author who writes a book these days is writing a series, so there are plenty of them out there. I hope you both get to some of them soon. Shannon, if you do end up reading The Mortal Instruments series, stop at book three. The others are not worth it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading Ladies.
I have heard that about the MI series. I still need to read book 3 myself.
DeleteCarrie - Fire and Thorns and Jessica Darling are on mine. I'm going to read those this year for sure! Hex Hall is fun and Bloodlines has just started getting great. I don't know anything about that Simone Elkeles series. I'll have to look it up.
ReplyDeleteShannon - I love the Mortal Instruments and The Vampire Academy. I have one book left of Chaos Walking and I think it's going to be EPIC!
I have read a few books by Simone Elkeles and enjoyed them. I found the Borders exclusive edition of the Ruined series all bound together into one book. I'm excited to read it. We are still reading the Jessica Darling series together, right? :-)
DeleteBloodlines is seriously my favorite series ever. And I love everything by Simone Elkeles. The firat book in The Body Finder series was incredible, the second one was okay, and I still need to read the others. So many awesome series. I hope you find the time to read them soon :)
ReplyDeleteJesse @ Pretty In Fiction
Carrie, you MUST read Fire and Thorns! Soooo amazing!
ReplyDeleteShannon, you MUST read VA!! How have you not read those yet!? ;)
Oh my yes, Hex Hall for sure! I haven't read that yet either.
ReplyDeleteAnd Shannon, please start VA! And also Chaos Walking! You will fall HEAD OVER HEELS for Todd Hewitt! <3
