Author Feature: A Day In the Life of... Amber Argyle

We here at Stalking the Bookshelves thought it might be fun to step behind the veil (if you will) and find out what goes on during an average day in the lives of our favorite authors. This is a monthly feature so stay tuned to see who else pops on by.

Its month 4 of our "A Day in the Life" feature and this month we have Amber Argyle author of Witch Song & Witch Born.

An average Day in my life...

7:15-- I wake up and run 3 miles with my friend, Amy.

8:00-- Wake up kids/breakfast.

9-12-- Housecleaning/chores with the kids.

12-1-- Lunch

1-3-- Quiet time. I write. The kids either read or watch TV

2-4-- The kids usually play with friends. Sometimes I can get a few more hours of writing time.

4:30-7 or 8-- Dinner and family time.

8-11-- Writing time.

As you can see, my life, and therefore my writing time, revolves around my kids. My schedule changes when theirs does. It varies somewhat depending on the day and the kids activities. If the kids are good--meaning they get along and do their chores--we have a fun Friday, which means we do some sort of fun activity (swimming, hiking, picnicking, etc).

During deadline, the housecleaning/chores gets cut and sometimes my friends help me watch the 3YO.

What else would you like to hear? It's kinda boring, LOL
