OMG! That's was my initial thought when I heard about this book. I'm always looking for something a bit different in the sea of YA books and this one definitely fits that description.

I have been tirelessly convincing people to read A Discovery of Witches in anticipation of the sequel. My job just got a little bit easier because Amazon will be offering the e-book as their “Deal of the Day” on June 10th. So that means if you haven't read it yet and you have a Kindle you will be able to buy it for just $2.99 on that day only. That is great news, so mark your calendars!!
Also on Deborah’s Facebook page, Viking will be hosting a contest leading up to the book’s publication. I really love the premise of The Hallowed Ones and the whole Amish angle. It's a definite have-to-have.
ReplyDeleteUm...I couldn't get through A Discovery of Witches. ;) That was one of the longest books ever. I keep having people yell at me to try it again though so maybe I ought to just buckle down for the weekend, huh? You're so enthusiastic about it, I may just finally give in and hope I'm done in time for this one!
