Its been a month since we did a Top Ten Tuesday list and we both really loved this week's topic the Top Ten Books You'd Like To See Made Into Movies. So here's the books we picked:
Carrie's 5:
1). The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley - A sweeping historical romance with time-travel.
2). The Iron King by Julie Kagawa - Ash on the big screen. Yes, please!
3). Where She Went by Gayle Forman - I love a good tearjerker and adore Adam.
4). The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstein - It's amazing, enough said.
5). Dark Inside by Jeyn Roberts - If it scares you, its gonna make a great movie.
Shannon's 5:
1). Burn Bright by Marianne de Pierres - I loved how different, dark and unsettling this novel was. Ixion was made to be put on film.
2). Cinder by Marissa Meyer - The world building in Cinder was amazing and so were the characters. This would be a visually stunning movie if done right.
3). Delirium by Lauren Oliver - This book blew me away! Its romantic, suspenseful, and fast paced. I want a movie of it NOW!
4). Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren - Italian knights, time travel and romance. This book would make such a fun and engaging movie.
5). Between Shade of Grey by Ruta Sepetys - This book is powerful, important and one of my favs. The film would be heartbreaking to watch but one that should be made.
So many wonderful choices! i am literaly dying to see waterfall as a movie! italy is a exquistic setting! And cinder and irong king (i'm not sure if they could find a perfect ash though) would be magnificent to see as a movie too!

Du Livre's Top Ten Tuesday
Several of yours are on my TBR list, although the only one I've actually read is Delirium (and hey, it's on my list too!) So many good, exciting, engrossing books out right now. I want them ALL!

Great list. I picked Cinder and Dark Inside as well. You are right about Dark Inside the book scared me but i would still go see the movie.

Carrie, you reminded me that I still need to read Where She Went! I read The first one and loved it but just haven't gotten to that one yet! Shannon, I don't remember seeing anything about Burn Bright before, it looks creepy and awesome! I need to look it up!

ReplyDeleteI finally bought Where She Went yesterday after reading the first book like a year ago. Great lists ladies!
Where She Went would slay me on the big screen! I would be a mess but it would be amazing! I also really want to see The Night Circus and Delirium as movies!
