Outlander Read-A-Long Sign Up!

The year is 1945. Claire Randall, a former combat nurse, is back from the war and reunited with her husband on a second honeymoon--when she walks through a standing stone in one of the ancient stone circles that dot the British Isles. Suddenly she is a Sassenach--an "outlander"--in a Scotland torn by war and raiding Highland clans in the year of Our Lord...1743.

Hurled back in time by forces she cannot understand, Claire is catapulted into intrigues and dangers that may threaten her life...and shatter her heart. Hey all Carrie here. I'm super excited about the Outlander read-a-thon Jacinda (The Reading Housewives), Asheley (Into the Hall of Books), Jess (Gone with the Words), Logan (Logan E. Turner), Jess (Tangled Up in Blue) & I put together. We were all discussing on twitter our desire to read or re-read Outlander and so this read-a-long was born. I'll be reading it for the first time but whether you've read it a 100 times or not at all, we hope you will sign up and read it with us.

The Outlander Read-A-Long will run 6 weeks due to the length of the book.
