Top 10 Tuesday (1) : Books We Feel Everyone Has Read But Us

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created  at The Broke and the Bookish. This is our first time participating and we're very excited.

Top Ten Books I (We) Feel As Though
Everyone Has Read But Me (Us)

Shannon's List of 5:

  1. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
  2. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
  3. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
  4. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
  5. Every Meg Cabot Book, LOL
Carrie just read City of Bones not to long ago and that has finally convinced me that I'm the last person on the planet who hasn't read this book. Nightshade is another one I've hear everyone talk about. I bought it ages ago with the original cover and still haven't gotten around to reading yet. Its the same thing with Paranormalcy, which is sad because Carrie just bought me a signed cover of the second book Supernaturally. The Book Thief is one I have been dying to read. In fact I don't really have a valid excuse as to why I haven't read it yet. I'll just blame it on review books getting in the way. As for Meg Cabot, I know what's wrong with me, everyone loves her books and I've never read a single one.

Carrie's List of 5:

  1. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
  2. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
  3. The Giver by Lois Lowry
  4. Fallen by Lauren Kate
  5. Every Sarah Dessen Book, LOL
No explanation necessary...it literally feels like everyone has read these but me! ;)

  1. We definitely have a few books in common on our lists, but I highly recommend "Anna and the French Kiss" and "The Book Thief." "Delirium" and "City of Bones" are gripping, and "Nightshade" is entertaining but has an unlikable (IMO) protagonist. Happy reading!

  2. Shannon, don't feel bad! I haven't read Nightshade and I haven't read anything by Meg Cabot either. And seriously, everyone has read Cabot!

Carrie, the only one on your list I've read is The Giver, which I loved. I'm actually terribly embarrassed to have never read any Dessen books since she lives in NC. (I should support the NC stuff, ya know?) I always tell people that I need to read her, but I have been so busy lately with review stuff that when I see one that I want to grab, I can't get to it. EVENTUALLY, though, I'll support my NC authors. :)

  3. I've read City of Bones and Anna and the French Kiss. I love both of them. They're two of my favorites. I'm currently reading The Book Thief. The others I also feel as though everyone else has read but me.

Nightshade, Paranormalcy, The City of Bones and The Book Thief are awesome, please please read them!

WHO IN THIS WORLD HASN'T READ ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS????

    Delirium is good.

Not a fan of Sarah Dessen and Lauren Kate can sit on your TBR for a bit longer!
