What a fabulous book! Ruta is a friend of mine, and I've had a blast watching her ride from obscurity to ? with this one amazing book that she put her heart and soul into. I hope it gets a Newbery. I think it certainly is possible. I read her manuscript and my only thought was, "Wow!" I blogged about her book and included a link to your contest. Hopefully you'll get some traffic--not that anyone reads my blog anyway. :O
